Friday night in Thermal, two people were arrested for DUIs when passing through a DUI checkpoint. Police were screening vehicles driving through the 86 Expressway and Airport Boulevard. Others were arrested for various misdemeanors, but only the two were arrested on suspicion of drunk driving.
