Interstate 10 Car Accident Ends Fatally

A car crossed four lanes of traffic on Interstate 10, hit a fence, and then crashed into a pole earlier this week, leading to the death of the driver. The California Highway Patrol reports that the driver may have been on the phone at the time with family members, who say he was complaining of chest pains. It is still unclear as to whether he swerved off the road because of chest pains or because of other causes.

Too many Palm Springs car accidents can happen from a driver using their phone while driving. While the above car accident may have resulted from a health issue, ones where a driver is being negligent, such as using their phone, can result in cuts, wounds, broken bones, head trauma and internal bleeding for other drivers.

If you have been involved in a Palm Springs car accident that was caused by another driver’s carelessness, then it’s important that you act quickly and correctly. Contact the police department at the time of the accident to report it, as well as getting medical attention in order to check for possible injuries. For your best interest, please contact our Palm Springs car accident attorneys for help during this complicated time in attempting to receive compensation for your injuries by calling (888) 810-0939 for a free case consultation.
